Q. What is ZooZ?

ZooZ is a complete and secure cross-app solution for mobile in-app purchases.

The ZooZ software library (SDK) for mobile applications is a one-stop shop that enables multiple payment options, creates an enhanced user interface, processes the transactions, and maintains secure storage of all sensitive details and fund routing in one simple API.

Q. Who should use ZooZ?

ZooZ's solution is intended for app developers who want to accept payments in their mobile applications.

Q. Why should I use ZooZ?

ZooZ focuses on maximizing revenue for the app developer. Therefore we aim to boost conversion rates by optimizing the end user interface and enabling a unified and easy checkout.

ZooZ also significantly simplifies the integration process by supplying an SDK that requires a minimum of effort from the developer and enables multiple payment methods in one solution. In addition, in order to provide a quality end-to-end solution, ZooZ is committed to transparent and competitive pricing.

And to make the setup process even easier for developers, we provide the first month of payment processing for free with no hidden costs.

Q. Which platforms are supported by ZooZ?

Currently, ZooZ runs on iOS and Android. Soon we will support Windows Phone 7 as well. In addition, ZooZ will support HTML 5 for mobile browsers (and not a native app solution).

Q. What payment methods does ZooZ support?

Our open payments platform allows access to multiple payment methods such as credit cards (Visa, MasterCard ) and PayPal.

We will soon add new global e-wallets and operator billing as well.

Q. What currency does ZooZ support?

ZooZ currently accepts transactions in USD, EUR, GBP and ILS.

Q. What is the global coverage of ZooZ?

ZooZ is global and can be used in 210 countries.

Q. Where can I see my revenues and usage statistics?

ZooZ offer a developer web portal with an access to your account and to your transactions history. We also developed a dashboard where you can see your revenues, balance, personal settings, and other information.

Q. How do I receive my earnings?

You can withdraw the funds in a variety of ways - into your PayPal account, your bank account, or you can be paid directly to a prepaid debit MasterCard™ (issued by our partner - Payoneer).

Q. How much does it cost me?

ZooZ is currently free to use for all beta version developers and no fees will be charged until March 2012.

At the end of the beta phase, our pricing will be 3.5% + 19 cents for each transaction.

Your profitability is important to us! Therefore we offer a simple and transparent pricing which is competitive in the online market. You can be sure there are no setup fees, no monthly fees, no card storage fees and no hidden costs.

Q. Any setup fees? Monthly fee? Cross border fees? AVS fees?

No, no, no and … no. We dislike hidden costs and will only charge you our processing fee for each transaction. Other costs that may be accrued are according to the developer's choice. For example, if the developer chooses to get his earnings directly to his bank account it is likely that there will be the bank fees.

Q. Where all the credit card numbers are stored?

All sensitive data including credit card numbers are stored on secured, PCI compliant servers. No sensitive data is ever stored locally on the device.

Q. How can I prevent my children from using my phone to purchase goods whenever they want?

ZooZ lets the buyer enhance security by adding a personal passcode. The passcode is stored on the ZooZ secured server and each purchase verifies it.

Q. What is an App-Key?

App-key supply to the developer upon registration of new app in the developer portal.

The app-key is part of ZooZ security mechanism to ensure only authorized client can authenticate to ZooZ secured server. The app-key is highly confidential, hence we recommend not send it by mail or pass it to any other 3rd party. Best practice would be storing your app-key in the application private storage.

Q. What is ZooZ sandbox environment?

ZooZ offers to developers a sandbox environment to test their apps which can be used after registering an app.

The sandbox environment simulate "real" production environment, without processing money.

Q. Can ZooZ be used for In-App payments on iOS?

In accordance with Apple’s App Store Guidelines (link), ZooZ can be used without limitation for purchasing physical goods or goods and services used outside of the application.
